Media and Communications Adviser

You are a media and communications expert. You can deliver high impact media strategies, pitch stories to journalists with ease and meet deadlines. We’re looking for our next Media and Communications Adviser.

You’ll need a strong commitment to social justice combined with a flexible, pro-active and “can-do” attitude and demonstrable ability to work with people who are vulnerable and disadvantaged. Your media expertise is backed up by outstanding skills in collaboration, project management and team work.

This is a permanent full-time position based at our offices in Melbourne CBD.  As primary media contact for our organisation, work outside regular business hours and on weekends – including answering our media phone – is required. Interstate travel may also be involved.

The salary range offered will be between $85,000 – $88,000 per annum commensurate with experience, plus superannuation. Consumer Action Law Centre offers FBT salary packaging therefore, depending upon personal financial circumstances, the value of the salary may be equivalent to up to approximately $5,000 – $7,000 higher.
