Consumer Action is looking for an administrative professional to be the front line of our busy but effective Operations team, supporting us to do what we do best.

Key responsibilities include managing the switchboard, record-keeping of incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining stocks of kitchen and office supplies, coordinating meeting room bookings and catering, and general administrative support.

You’ll need a demonstrable ability to relate to people who are vulnerable and disadvantaged, and a strong commitment to social justice combined with a flexible, pro-active and “can-do” attitude.  If you have experience with Microsoft Office 365, and you enjoy learning about information systems, that will be an asset in this role.

This is a permanent part-time position working 4 days per week at our offices in Melbourne CBD with the possibility of moving to full time in mid 2019.

The salary range offered will be between $54,000 – $58,000 (pro rata) commensurate with experience, plus superannuation. Consumer Action Law Centre offers FBT salary packaging therefore, depending upon personal financial circumstances, the value of the salary may be equivalent to up to approximately $5,000 – $7,000 higher.
