Consumer Action has provided input to the Australian Energy Market Commission’s 2015 Retail Competition Review Approach Paper. Effective competition is critical for energy consumers to the extent that it can drive lower prices and respond to the consumers’ needs to provide more useful and appropriate products.
Consumer Action continues to support the principles behind the review and the need for ongoing monitoring of retail competition. We welcome the Commission’s feedback on the issues we previously raised in relation to the Issues Paper.
